Alexandrite is inspired by June’s color-shifting birthstone, with rich teal and emerald tones that move into raspberry-plum flashes and soft smoky shadows. It has a jewel-toned depth without being overly dark, giving each skein movement, contrast, and a little mystery.

This colorway is tonal and variegated rather than speckled, so it brings plenty of interest while still feeling wearable. Different fiber bases will show the colors in their own way, from crisp and luminous to soft and moody, but the overall palette stays rooted in that beautiful alexandrite shift.

As always, each skein is hand-dyed and one of a kind. I recommend alternating skeins for larger projects.
